Background

How we end our lives is the most important and costly conversation India isn’t having; and ‘Death Over Dinner‘ is focused on bringing this conversation into the forefront. The dinner is an uplifting, interactive adventure; that transforms this seemingly difficult conversation into one of deep engagement and empowerment. It has become a global movement and one of the most effective end of life discussion awareness campaigns to date. With hundreds of dinner hosted across several countries, Death Over Dinner is a must-attend!

Death Over Dinner

We collaborated with Le Cordon Bleu London Chef to curate a five course dinner. The menu is an artistic interpretation of the five stages of grief – Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. We welcomed our guests with a cocktail and invited them to take a seat at the table. Krittika Sharma, a behaviour architect and Director of Death Over Dinner India; facilitated the conversation. Once comfortable, we invite our guests to share a personal experience related to the loss of a loved one. As the guests share their experience, we begin service. The dinner table setting is the best place to have a conversation around something so important yet aversive. We are proud to be a part of this important initiative.

We contribute part of the proceeds  from this experience to the end of life awareness campaign. Contact us to get involved; or to host your own Death Over Dinner.
